PENNY WARS ARE BACK!

Every penny, dollar, and roll of coins adds positive points for your grade, but watch out… silver coins take them away! 

New families to BPA – Get ready for fun! Every morning at drop off send your kids with coins and cash. Your child will deposit their pennies and cash in the big jar marked with their grade level when they enter the school. Those are positive points! 

1 penny = 1 point

1 dollar bill = 100 points…

20 dollar bill = 2,000 points

But don’t forget that silver!!! Your child will put the silver coins in another grade’s bin – those are negative points for that grade. 

Real talk, penny wars gets heated. Each night your PTA will announce the standings of each classroom. Second grade in the lead after Monday? Well, you can just about bet they will get a lot of silver negative points the next day. 

As always your PTA will have a few tricks up their sleeves to keep it interesting. Be on the lookout for PTA Meeting bonus points and the insane Sneakattack period.

The winning grade at the end of the weeklong wars will be announced on Friday. Every child in that grade will be treated to a very special Penny Wars Pizza Party!!!!
